Overall attendance is down 0.4%, a bit lower from where we were at to start August. There was a brief period in August—maybe five days—when 2017 numbers jump ahead of 2016, but that was short-lived; the numbers from the past two weeks have been pretty bad.
In the last update, I listed the teams that were on pace to break the three million mark. Well, with 12 home games to go, the Dodgers have already broken it (3,168,886). The Cardinals should join them this weekend. The Giants, Jays, Cubs, and Yankees will do the same in the final weeks. The Angels, Rockies, and Red Sox should fall around 2,900,000.

Baseball is here! And more importantly, that means the over/under game is back. It seems as though everyone is an expert this time of year. Somehow we convince ourselves that we are better at predicting baseball outcomes than everyone else. Well, AFITB is putting that to the test for the third year in a row. Think you know more about baseball than us? You probably do. But go ahead and prove it anyway.
